Some years ago, I viewed Kapampangan script for the word atom … ancient symbols spelling out what we had only recently “discovered” … how amazing is that? This confirmed for me what I had always believed, about the knowledge and power of our “ancient” peoples.
I am not Filipino, but I am in love with and endlessly fascinated by the Philippines. These islands have gifted me some of the most extraordinary people in my life, with laughter and Love I will cherish always❤️.
In this way, I was introduced to the life and work of Filipino hero Jose Rizal. This piece is made from a photo of one of his monuments, put through my signature #DAMCLDivineMirroring ™ Quantum Energy Infusion® style & spiritual process [read more about that below].
Rizal was a brilliant man, a true genius, as an author, artist, architect, educator, master linguist (over 22 languages), world traveler, and more.
He was executed in December of 1896, for “inciting rebellion”. His words and legacy however, live on; especially amongst the peoples still fighting for true liberty, justice, education, and equality for pinoys worldwide.
Some of my favorite Rizal quotes are:
▪️ "Ignorance is servitude, because as a man thinks, so he is; a man who does not think for himself and allowed himself to be guided by the thought of another is like the beast led by a halter."
▪️ "Justice is the foremost virtue of the civilizing races. It subdues the barbarous nations, while injustice arouses the weakest."
▪️ "To doubt God, is to doubt one’s own conscience; and in consequence, it would be to doubt everything."
▪️ "Travel is a caprice in childhood, a passion in youth, a necessity in manhood, and an elegy in old age."
I am still exploring Rizal, I would never call myself an expert on him; but I resonate with his author and artist’s soul, his thirst & appetite for knowledge, and his desire for better for the Philippines & all people.
I was inspired to create this energy infused art piece, to celebrate him and the Philippines, in gratitude for all the Laughter, Love, and Music, PH has inspired within me. I am happy to say that many energies and starry eyed symbols showed up within the image. These can be viewed in several 👁👁👁 layers, (especially when zooming in/viewing upon large pieces). I was also thrilled to see diwata show up amongst them; and a star similar to that of the Filipino flag, come through (visible towards the center star mandala).
I believe this to be a piece Rizal would have examined for hours. I would be thrilled for you to do the same.
