Welcome to the Forever Ganesh ™®© collection. When channeling the name for these pieces, I asked Ganesh “Lord Ganesh are you forever?” Ganesha replied “Love is forever and I am Love.” – A brilliant and beautiful response from the Lord of Wisdom and co-writer/scribe of the Mahabharata. Perhaps also a new mantra for us, in more ways than one 🙏❤🐘♾❤🐘🙏🏽.
Lord Ganesh (or Ganesha) is not only the Lord of Wisdom, he is perhaps best known for his role as the Remover of Obstacles. A son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesh is one of the few deities adored, revered, and respected by the trimurthi in its entirety (holy trinity of Lord Brahma, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu). Ganesh has a special relationship with the goddesses as well, often working with Lord Vishnu’s Love Lakshmi, to bring people blessings in the fields of abundance.
Said to be born of Goddess Parvati when she created him to guard her during bathing, Ganesh was fearless to stand and protect, even against Lord Shiva himself. It lost him his (human) head, but it is how he gained his elephant one, and came to be so wise and so honored. Sweet as he is, Ganesh is also quite strong, able to outsmart & slay demons whenever necessary. In fact there is an alternative birth story for Ganesh, where his mother in her form as Goddess Lalita, was working as the head of an army of female warriors. One day, she found her army asleep, even as they began to be attacked. Unable to wake them, she opened her mouth, not in fear or frustration, but in laughter. This laughter and confidence, gave birth to the God Ganesh. He emerged just in time to work with his mother and break the spell of the sleeping soldiers (acting as the snow in the poppy fields 🌈, as it were 😉😉), and winning them the battle. This to me is such a shining example and classic depiction of Lord Ganesh; always able to laugh, calmly and joyously cutting his way through any and all obstacles, and always working fantastically with others (as long as their heart is in it).
Lord Ganesh is one of the sweetest, strongest beings you will ever meet. It is no wonder he is revered throughout the pantheons and by peoples of all faiths. To me he (like his father), is very balanced between his masculine and feminine energies and forms. As you see, I will often refer to him as either Ganesh or Ganesha. This to most is a matter of personal preference; to me it is a distinction between his more masculine side as Ganesh and his more feminine side as Ganesha. Perhaps this is a way you’d like to work with him as well.
I’ve worked with Ganesh for years, for lifetimes in fact. My grandmother actually reconnected me with him in this lifetime, once I crossed her over in spirit. Christ himself then brought Ganesh to me as a brother of His in Light (I work with many pantheons and light beings you see).
However you work or worship, I have seen Ganesha perform miracles with any and all willing to embrace him through their hearts. His love is truly infinite, as is his power. It inspired this design, and it is my hope that these energetically charged pieces, will become part of your work or worship with him too. Salamat/Thank*You All, for appreciating and experiencing this beautiful being with me.
And to my beautiful Bappa … Oh Ganesha, I think I’ve loved you forever ♾. Long before my body “knew you”, my soul loved and remembered you in every elephant, and in every obstacle removed. Yes, I have loved you forever; and as long as there’s love, I know they’ll be Forever Ganesh ™®©. Thank you, for always being there, Thank You for everything 🙏🐘👑🙏🏽.
